2. Data collected
We collect: your email address (account creation), your educational progress (modules completed, scores, streaks), payment data (handled by Stripe — we never store card numbers), and anonymous technical data (aggregated analytics).
3. Purposes
Your data is used to: provide the service, measure progress, bill the subscription, send transactional emails (and marketing only if opted in), improve the platform via aggregated analytics.
4. Hosting and disclosure outside Québec
Your account and progress are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in Montréal (Canada Central region), and the site is rendered by Vercel in Montréal too (yul1 region): that data does not leave Québec. Only our payment (Stripe) and email (Resend) providers sit outside Québec. In accordance with Law 25, those disclosures are subject to a privacy impact assessment and to contractual commitments of equivalent protection.
5. Retention
Active account: for the duration of your subscription plus 3 years after last sign‑in. Billing records: 6 years after the end of the relevant tax year, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under Law 25 (Québec) and PIPEDA (federal): access, rectification, withdrawal of consent, portability, and de-indexing. Exercise your rights at privacy@nknowtrade.com. If you disagree with our response, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
